Job Description
We are looking for full time permanent Laboratory Technician with an industrial food production skill to support our team in the day to day running of the business, the Lab Technician will assist in the food sampling; measuring, analysing and maintain the lab area clean following our sample processing and aseptic technique procedure in cooperation with the rest of our laboratory team.
Key Responsibilities for the role
- No aspects of this role require any scientific qualification or experience, this is a post for those who like to be busy with their hands and full training is given.
- Preparing samples for analysis including weighing and performing serial dilutions.
- To ensure the maintenance of equipment and adequate stocks of reagents and consumables are upheld in the Lab.
- Maintain cleanliness and sterility of equipment along with general cleaning duties.

- A mature outlook and attitude are necessary.
- Able to perform well under pressure.
- Being able to handle different types of food.
- Fast learner

Salary: £ 11.44 per hour.
Hours: 40 hours per weeks Sunday to Thursday/Monday to Friday/Tuesday to Saturday/ between the hours of 12:30-21:00pm.
Holiday: 28 days paid holiday (including BH) pro rata
