Dr. Sue Passmore – Microbiological Consultant

Sue is our Microbiological Consultant specialising in food examination, safety and hygiene, and laboratory quality systems. She has been a Technical Assessor to ISO 17025 since 1993 and to ISO 17043 since 2000.

Sue is the UK (BSI) delegate to ISO TC34 SC9/CEN TC275 WG6 Food Microbiology and ISO TC147 SC4 Water Microbiology method development committees. She is the convenor of ISO Working Groups preparing standards on: Proficiency Testing (ISO 22117), Food Sample Preparation (ISO 6887) and General Requirements for Water Microbiology (ISO 8199).
